B i o g r a p h y

Jonathan Hoffman graduated from George Mason University in 2009 with a Bachelor of Music in Vocal Performance, and currently studies with Debby Wenner.  He has performed with various groups throughout the area, including Loudoun Lyric Opera, Riverbend Opera, the Georgetown Chorale, the National Philharmonic Chorus, and SRCS.  He has been featured as a soloist with the Catherine and Mary Roth Concert Series in Washington, D.C.  His operatic roles include King Kaspar in Amahl and the Night Visitors, Ko-Ko in The Mikado, Incredibile and L'abate in Andrea Chénier, L'abate di Chazeuil in Adriana Lecouvreur , Henry in Norton: A Civil War Opera, Lippo Fiorentino in Street Scene, Mario Cavaradossi in Tosca, Rodolfo in La Boheme, Bardolfo in Falstaff, and the title role in Tartuffe.  He is also a chorister with Washington National Opera,  performing in Tristan und Isolde and L'elisir d'amore, Götterdämmerung, Don Carlo, Eugene Onegin, and in WNO's upcoming productions of Otello, and Samson et Dalila.
